chattin' some more...

Happy Monday friends.  It's Columbus today, so my kids are home from school...not only for the holiday, but for the week...it's fall break all week - yay!  I think they get a break in Arizona because they don't have snow days.  I remember being a kid in NY, waking up to watch the moving headlines roll across the bottom of the screen...hoping to see our school's name.  Hoping for a closure...but being ok with an hour or 2 delay.  Snow days were the best!  Here they get to enjoy beautiful weather, so I suppose they love the break just as much as those snowy days.  It's going to be 90's all week, which is a relief from 120 degrees.  We had about 4.5 months with 100 plus degree days :)

Heidi's card is filled with fabulous textures.  It's just plain fun to look at!  (love the pennant)

Kryssi chose washi tape as her eye catcher...and I adore it!  She stamped the feather pattern onto white card stock - brilliant!

If you have time to create - we'd love for you to play along with our current SPARKS challenge

I have one other challenge blog to mention - we are a sponsor over at Wee Memories.  If you play along...you will have a chance to win some Paper Smooches stamps!

enjoy your week
hugs,
Kim

  6. I remember growing up with snow days too - they were actually 'exposed skin will freeze in 1 minute days'. We had snow regularly that school only ever got cancelled if it was too cold... which wasn't as often as we would like! LOL. We have Canadian Thanksgiving today so got to enjoy turkey and family. Enough babbling.... fabulous cards, wonderful inspiration.
