gettin'swanky

with the snowdudes . . .
Today is the last day of Pep Rally week since our release is at midnight TONIGHT..woo...hoooo

Here are some more samples of the NEW Swanky Snowdudes June stamp set

On those winter days that don't dump a lot of snow, it's still fun to make a snowman...why not build a cute short one?  I adore Laurie's little guy.  She stamped the snowflakes and punched circles around them (or punched circles and stamped snowflakes on them...that's the beauty of clear stamps)  I love the way she colored him...love the falling snow and her sentiment treatment is FAB!!

eeeeek, I was so hoping to see a snow globe...yay Heather!!  I dig this primary winter scheme.  How wonderful that she curved the sentiment to follow along the curvy snow!  What a glittericious card :)

Hope to see you tonight, midnight mountain standard time....all of the June stamps are available

Pep Rally weeks continues

Release day is June 1 (technically midnight, MST on May 31)
Here's a sampling of the June "Word Up" stamp set

I love that Kryssi combined the pie from the FOLKal Points stamp set with a sentiment from Word Up.  What a sweet way to say thank you for a birthday gift, this card screams party to me.  This card is super playful and I just adore it!

Please excuse me, but this is a "shut up" card!!  I get giddy all over when I look at it.  Heidi added some little triangles to the bottom of this bubble word group and made them ballooooons....wow, I am in awe!  And her monster "sigh" I love him!!

Make sure to check all of our designers blogs today to see if you are a winner of a NEW June stamp set...wooohoooo!

Please join us tomorrow for another peek from Heather and Laurie

Thank you so much for stopping by

We are...

We are soooo happy that you are enjoying our Pep Rally week so far :)

Here's a card that I made using a sentiment from the new "Word Up" set (available on June 1st) along with Friendly Flowers.  I stamped a background with the large flower and filled in the spaces with a leaf from the "Hang Ups" stamp set.  I embellished it with some Zva Creative roses and inked the edges to make it a little shabby.

We will be back on Monday with more sneaks and the design team will be posting the winners of the new June stamp sets.

have a super wonderful weekend.

May Paper Smooches DT blog hop!

It's Pep Rally week and we are here today to share a sampling of the newest Paper Smooches June stamp release! Three NEW clear stamp sets will be available to purchase at 12:01am (mountain time) on Wednesday, June 1st.

To add extra fun to our blog hop...we are offering up a prize!  Just leave a comment on any of the five design team blogs listed below for your chance to win one of the three new June stamp sets!  (you do not need to comment on all blogs to qualify)  You have until midnight MT on Saturday, May 28th to leave a comment.  Please check all five blogs on Monday, May 30th to see if you are one of the five lucky winners.

I used our NEW "Word Up" stamp set along with a bird from "Hang Ups" (orange bird) and "FOLKal Points" (yellow bird).  As you can see, they work beautifully together.  Word Up consists of 17 words and phrases - all hand written of course :)  Along with a whimsical font, you will find cursive, blocky and bubbly - it's a super playful stamp set!

Thank you SO MUCH for joining us today for our second sneak peek!

It's June PEP Rally week!

thanks for joining us :)
Our first peek is courtesy of our fabulous Teri...She made a mini card from the new matryoshka doll.  She is about 1 3/4 x 2 1/2.  She paper pieced her with card stock and added a criss cross trim with our stitches stamp.  The sentiment is from Perky Plants stamp set.

This set is called FOLKal points.  There are 24 stamps on this super fun set!  Think country, folk and primitive.  More sneaks to come.

I am proud to show off the last samples created by our guest designer, Leigh Ann Baird

Ummm, yeah, this is hysterical!!  How could this not cheer up anyone who receives it?  This card will make me chuckle all day, seriously this scene is the best!  I love that some parts are raised and her color choices (as usual) are perfect!

Here's another super cute scene.  How wonderful that she used the branch for mini trees :)  I think we all can agree that Annie is a coloring rock star!!

It was a treat having you join us Annie.  We adore you and your amazing talent!  Thank you for being our guest this month (((hugs)))

Tomorrow is our June design team blog hop.  See you there.

have a GREAT day everyone :)

hey friends

We are getting closer to sharing our first peek of our June release tomorrow.  I am so excited I can't stand it!

Until then, please enjoy these sweet cards by our amazing design team.

I imagine this cute card would be perfect for a friend or small little girl.  I love that chunky satin bow!!  And Heather's soft pink glitter chicks makes me swoooon

How about a card from the opposite side of the style spectrum from clean and cute...here's shabby and cute.  Laurie's attention to detail makes me want to drink her cards in.  I love that paw print tag accent, the torn edges and perfect distressing!  It starts out masculine but ends up stinking adorable!

Enjoy your day
Hope to see you tomorrow :)

Grow Giggles

I am hoping that this flowers teethy grin makes you do exactly that today "grin"

How fun that Heidi created a seed packet wrap!!  The kraft color reminds me of dirt, the zig zag paper reminds me of a fence and that fabulous green burlap is grass to me.   Of course it wouldn't be complete without a sweet sunflower as the main focus.  I am noit sure if this was Heidi's intention, but I appreciate her attention to detail.

LOVE!

Kryssi - that clever girl!  She cut the flower stem from the flower pot base and used them separately.  That flower looks downright giddy to be getting some water from that cute flowering can.  Oh- Em-Gee - I love this card!!

We hope you had a nice weekend and that your week is even better than the last.
Thank you for stopping by :)

Versatility

Take a closer look at your stamps and be extra-creative if you feel inspired.  There are many hidden uses for the obvious.  Like making a toaster or heart monitor from of a TV.  It's so wonderful to see that you are all having a blast playing with our stamps!

I used the rectangle shapes from the Hang Ups sets.  The bigger rectangle is supposed to be a towel and the thin rectangle is a clothes line-light post.

The sentiment is from Sentiment Sampler and the flowers are from our Friendly Flowers stamp set.

I colored the flowers with Copic markers.  Then I colored the clear Zva Creative crystals with the same marker.  Super easy card, but it makes an impact because of the graphic feel.

I created another Paper Smooches card that you can see on my personal blog today.  I created it for a special blog hop and give-away, sponsored by Paper Crafts magazine.  We are promoting the Card Creations Volume 9 issue.  It's seriously amazzzzzing!  AND our very first advertisement appears in this issue.  You can see it on page 161.

fyi -

May 25th is when Pep Rally week starts

Our design team blog hop is scheduled for May 26th

Thank you SO MUCH for joining us this week!  Hope your weekend is extra-wonderful :)

Happy Wednesday

We are having gorgeous weather in Arizona, hope you are too :)

Let's start our day with another beautiful Teri creation.  It's sweet, simple and just plain cute!  That blue mat really helps the main panel pop and her tiny bow adds the perfect touch.

Here are 2 more cutie-petootie creations by LeAnn Baird, our May guest designer :)

Cool "Polaroid" scene using our cow chubby chum!!!  I adore her patterned grass hill and clouds.  The color combo, sentiment treatment and that awesome yellow accent makes me grin :)

awwww, this scene is just sooooo freaking CUTE!!!  Her clouds makes me swooon.  I love the watermarked electrical poles, don't you?

Smooches to Annie who was a pleasure to work with this month.  Her color choices and clever uses of our stamps makes our jaws drop!!  Thank you SO MUCH for joining us. xo

You still have time to try out to be our June guest designer.  The deadline is midnight tonight.  We would LOVE to see all of your beautiful work.  Details are HERE

Let's get Perky

Who doesn't like being silly?
This super cute card would be a great reminder to not take life too seriously, and just "be silly"
I adore the soft pretty colors that Laurie chose.  Those glittered petals makes me swooooon.  I just love the texture that she adds to her cards, it makes me want to look at it, and look again :)

Now this card really brightens my day!  That grinning flower makes me giddy all over.  I love that Heather popped up the flower, it really adds zing!  The sentiment is an EAD rub-on

Both cards makes me want to color today. hmmmm :o)
Happy Tuesday!

more chums

I dare you....
to not smile at this card :)
it makes me giggle, out loud.  k, so let's start with the fact that Kryssi made the owl into a chubby chick!  That along with the bowing electrical wire is a stinking crack up!!  The banner is from Hang Ups and the "birthday hugs" sentiment is an EAD rub-on.

here's another silly card for you.  For some crazy reason, I think I would smooch that sweet cow!  Heidi's design is very cool - it looks like a picture frame on the wall with some really fun wallpaper.  Clever and cool, as always

Thank you so much for stopping by :)
Enjoy your week

The PS Patrol - May

Hello friends!
On the second Thursday of every month 2 projects will be posted by 2 talented designers that are found on the web.  The patrol is sent out to find super-fabulous projects using our stamps and templates!  Facebook, our Fan Flickr page and personal blogs are our favorite places to look.

I love, LOVE, love this color combo!!  What a pretty dragonfly :)  I think her sentiment treatment is my favorite element on this card because of the playful pleats and those stitches makes me so happy.  Her stitching and glitter really finishes off this extra-sweet card.  She used an EAD sentiment and popped up the cloud and dragonfly.  Great job Stephanie.

LuAnn Spang
k, when I saw this card, I smiled and just couldn't stop smiling.  This level of creativity tells me that LuAnn truly enjoyed the process.  It's witty, it's beyond clever and it's downright CUTE!!  I went to a crop that night and showed off this card to everyone.  It's a WOW card and I am thrilled to show it off to you all!

Our June guest designer search is ON, so if you haven't seen the details, check them out HERE

:)

We are back today with some Perky Plants and 2 very talented designers

Teri's little scene makes me smile.  I am digging her paper choices and her playful white lines, yummmmm

O-M-G...what a crack up this card is.  I am gaga over Leigh Ann's freeze frame accent!!!  Her paper choice is perfect and her sentiment is perfect for this darrrrrling card!!

It's funny how even though this card uses many colors, it makes me feel patriotic for some reason.  HOW FUN!!  Her quirky plant makes me smile all over :)

Don't forget to pop into the CPS blog this week for major Paper Smooches eye candy

enjoy your day friends :)

Tuesday, May 10, 2011

Hey there :)

Hope you are enjoying your week so far

Today we have Heather and Laurie showing off their stuff  :)

YAY

Lanterns are pretty cool, aren't they?  I adore Heather's in every way.  I imagine a Mexican Fiesta or an adult male party when I see this neat card!  Heather used this week's CPS sketch and a sticker by EAD Designs

This skunk-slash-squirrel is invading someone's clothes line, and I LOVE it!!  I think that bird is checking him out and giggling or rolling his eyes.  Do you think it's raining outside?  I adore a card that encourages us to "drink it in"

Have a GREAT day sweet friends

we have...

Lots of fun things going on over here today :)
First, let's start with some VERY inspiring projects
ok, I neeeeeed to find out who that scalloped frame is made by, it's wonderful!  Heidi has an amazing way of "framing" her focal points, I LOVE that!  Sweet simplicity at it's best!  Can you see this card used as a baby theme with a different sentiment (and with a onsie hanging down)?

Kryssi's card has such a cool feel to it. Those stamped lines make it very graphic and the images makes it so fun and cute.  She made those lines with the tall/skinny rectangle that was intended for a clothes line.  It's fun that she didn't attach the leaves and flower.  Just a neat card I think

back to the digis

soooo, have you noticed that the new digi for May coordinates with Chubby Chums?

that little bee was part of the original chum club, but there was simply not enough room for him on the set.  Plus since there is a bee on the Giddy Bugs set, I thought there wasn't a need for another at this time.

ok, so looking at this little guy now, I wish I paper pieced him with that base yellow paper instead of the gingham.  Ah well, maybe next time.    That's the beautiful thing about digis, we can print over and over with perfect consistency every time.

I have something extra fun planned for tomorrow - which is National Scrapbook Day - didja know?

I have 10 prizes to give away - wahoooooo

see you tomorrow :)

Isn't that one gorgeous color combo???

check out the Play Date Cafe link above for more information of how to win 2 Paper Smooches stamp sets of your choice.

Here is the card that I created for this challenge

I used our Chubby Chums stamp set.  Each cat is cut from different patterned papers.  The eyes are stamped onto white card stock, cut out and placed in different directions to make it look like they are checking each other out!

We hope you join us :)

:)

Leigh Ann Baird joins us this month as our guest- YAY!

Her use of color is always divine!  That fuchsia and teal owl is the bomb!!!  I think it's very cool that she stamped the branch from Hang Ups in gray and left it alone - and to top it off, her panel shape is way cool.  We are proud to feature your beautiful work this month Annie, welcome :)

and ahhhh, Teri created another cutie-petootie card for us.  I haven't played with the cow stamp yet (gasp) but when I do, I am giving those rosy cheeks a try, I LOVE them!  Fun sentiment treatment Miss Teri!!

Have a very nice day :)

Let's Hang Out!

We are hoping that HANG UPS inspires you to create some really fun projects.  The possibilities are endless!

Laurie can rock clean and simple as beautifully as she creates soft and elegant projects.  This takes my breath away...I just love looking at it, LOL.  Those pops of rainbow colors, that perfect B/W polka dot ribbon, that embossed frame, swoon-worthy!

hehe, Heather's card cracks me up!  That squirrel looks like he has been up to something - or is it a skunk and we don't see his white stripe down his back?

  hmmmm

Heather colors amazingly well, and those colors as usual, makes my heart happy!  I only dream of making bows that perfect (sigh)

In case you missed it, our May release became available yesterday.

Oh my goodness, pure sweetness happening here!  I adore those curtains, you can tell that this darling card is a window card, right?  ack....swoooon

as if the front isn't cute enough, she goes and adds the perfect sentiment on the inside.  Those yellow letters are a great idea!

Can you just feel the breeze that's moving Heidi's adorable flowers?  Fun design, perfect bow - just an all around fabulous card!!

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  We hope that you are feeling inspired.
