These are the stamps that Jennifer and I are creating with today:
Paper Smooches, Sunny Side Up and Hero Arts, Cling Dots

My camera had a hissy fit with this card, I suppose it's because it's so light.

The clouds and umbrella are glittered.  I colored them with Copic's first and added the same color glitter as the markers (I used a glue pen to apply the glue).  There is also a strip of white glitter at the bottom...let's pretend it water from the rain :)

I didn't ink the entire polka dot stamp...I only inked in certain areas to create a "rain" effect.

...and here's the last sneak peek for our October release.  These sweeties are from "My Peeps" stamps set. Our release day is tomorrow - woohoooo!

We have something special planned for you tomorrow.  Our very talented design team will be sharing projects using an "extra" stamp set that is releasing along with our October sets (Hot Concoctions, My Peeps, Chit Chat)  A wicked sweet prize is involved.

Hero Arts + Paper Smooches Challenge: Day 4

I am here today sharing a card that I created with Paper Smooches  Word Up set and Hero Arts Many Dots stamp set.

Jennifer McGuire is doing the same :)  Her cards have been fabulous so far...can't wait to see her card today.

I chose a color combo that makes me smile.  This is the kind of card that you can make tons of to have on hand for those "just because" occasions.

Teri is here to share her "Chit Chat" card...and our special guest designer Debby created an adorable card using Perpetual Bliss and Sentiment Sampler (our best seller).  Chit Chat will be available on October 1st :)

Chit Chat includes 19 super fun sentiments!  Teri used 6 of them - WOW!!  What an amazing card!!

Can you believe how freaking cute this card is?  What a FAB-ulous color combo.  Debby did a great job with design and balance (which drove us to her in the first place)  We will miss YOU Debby - it has been wonderful working with you this month!  I will continue to stalk your blog   :)

pep rally day 4

Welcome to another peek of the new "My Peeps" stamp set

There's a lot of happiness going on here!  Heather chose such super fun colors for her card.  I am adoring all of the little details!  The clouds are from "Sunny Side Up" and the flowers are from "Friendly Flowers.  Beautiful card Heather!!

Laurie chose the same bird and sentiment.  I love when that happens, we can truly see how diverse one stamp set can be...making them appealing to all creative styles.  I love that shade of green!  Laurie's card is elegant and oh so Betty Davis!

pep rally day 3

We are showing off our Hot Concoctions today :)

One of our October sets revolves around those heart warming hot drinks.  You can dabble with tea and coffee of course, but hot chocolate and cider are also options.   I am sure that you can think of a few other "hot concoctions"

Heidi created this vibrant card that showcases our "to go" cup and silly sentiment.  I am a HUGE Starbucks fan, so I love me some coffee-to-go!  When I do, I mostly get a Venti (large) size, which also happens to be used in this punny sentiment.  I imagine this is a card that you could send to a friend, inviting them to "chat".  This card make me smile :)

Kryssi paired up Hot Concoctions with Pretty Phrases.  She chose to use a "coffee bean" found on the set...but I think her little guys could be little candies or colorful mini hamburgers maybe?  Her bowl is actually a coffee cup from the set as well.  Clever, clever girl :)

This week I have something extra fun planned for you all.  I will need to direct you to my personal blog for today, Tuesday and Wednesday.  I will be back here on Thursday and Friday - and some Sweet blog candy will be up for grabs (stamps are involved).

Pep Rally day TWO

The penguin and snowflakes are heat embossed with a deep grey. not sure if you can tell :)
I colored the North pole with a red Copic marker.
North Pole and Snowflakes are from our Swanky Snowdudes stamp set...and the penguin is from our NEW "My Peeps" stamp set that will be released on Oct. 1.

Yes, yes we do  :)

Teri's card is sooooo stinkin' sweet!!  The light bulb is from Perpetual Bliss and the words were created with Alphadot.  Isn't her coloring divine???  I love that she popped up the light bulb for that extra POP factor!

Holy amazing masking!!  Debby made our Halloweenies set come to life with this fabulous stamped scene!  She singled out one pumpkin and used the perfect sentiment for this card form our Vegtastic stamp set.  Brilliant card!!!

Boo!

Laurie did a fantastic job with our Halloweenies stamp set this month!  The black inked edges add the perfect touch and her paper choices are awesome :)  (what a GREAT card!!)

Karolyn created such a super fun and whimsical card.  Her orange polka dot clouds are fabulous!   I think it's very cool how she made pierced lines for the spiders to hang from.  (I am a sucker for white on white)

Heather is back with us for our blog hop and regular postings starting on Thursday  (yay).  We missed Heather while she took a break, but it was a joy to have Karolyn join us.  Thank you Karolyn for sharing your talent with us - you ROCK!!

We are bringing more sunshine your way today...

I LOVE that Kryssi chose a bold black base for her tag.  It really makes the images POP!  Clean - simple - to the point.  And can be used for a boy or girl - bonus!

Ahhh, what a cheerful sunny card!!  This card would have to make someone feel better.  Heidi's rainbow scalloped border is pure genius!

Our September DT Blog Hop is scheduled for September 22nd...please stay tuned :)  This will also be the first glimpse of our October stamp sets.

Happy Friday!

This card is for you artists out there...which is all of you  :).  Do you sigh gently when you see a work or art?  I see art all around me.  I love listening to music, I appreciate a well written story and I weep at incredible acting, ballet makes me swoon...goodness, I could go on and on.  I am glad you are here, enjoying art with us.

I used a Luminarte Dauber bottle to splat some paint onto my card base.  The sentiment is from our "Sentiment Sampler" stamp set and the bling is by Zva Creative.

I love sharing how versatile our stamp sets are...so I came up with this little collage of ideas:

Golf Scene - I used the cloud and flag from Spiffy Scooters and the smiling face is from Fruitastic.  The hole is a letter zero from Alphadot (I colored it in with a black marker)

Singing Snowdude - Swanky Snowman (with buttons, mouth and hat colored with a black pen), Perpetual Bliss (the microphone and music notes).  I used a black pen and ruler to add a stand for the microphone.

Get Well - Sentiment Sampler and Santa Paws was used...the thermometer is actually the North Pole.  I colored a portion of the pole with a red Copic marker

Fish Bowl - I used the circle from Sunny Side Up...I just placed a piece of paper over the top of the circle to mask it.  After I stamped it, I used a black pen and ruler to draw the top and water line.  The fish is from Surf and Turf

I hope these samples have inspired you to take a closer look at your PS stamps.  Turn them, and really look at them with an open mind...you might be amazed at what you see.  Please share any ideas that you have...that would be a joy!

with smile inducing cards!

Check out this cleverness - I don't know where to begin.  That helicopter stole my heart!  Teri's primary colors makes this the perfect little boy card.  I really like the blue marker accent on the clouds (I must try that)

Debby Hughes is back with us this week with 2 cards that have epic-cute factor!  My goodness....everything about this card makes me smile - huge!  She used the squirrel found on the "hang Ups" stamp set - LOVE that!!

...and awwwww - how sweet is this???  Notice that Debby used the cloud from "Sunny Side Up" for her tree top?  The tree trunk is from "Hang Ups" and the elephants are from our "A Little Lovin" stamp set.  Her design is perfection!

what have you been up to?

My goodness...I missed you all yesterday...it seemed so quiet here yesterday.  Are you all getting those sweet kids off to school?  It seems so weird that mine have been back for over a month now.

I'd love to share 2 amazing cards using our Perpetual Bliss stamp set.

Karolyn chose a trendy color combo and paired up the perfect patterns.  Did you notice that she chose a sentiment from our Giddy Bugs stamp set?  It works beautifully!  That lamp die cute and light bulb combo is pure genius!

Laurie did it again - she used polka dot patterned papers to draw attention to our light bulb...I love how she does that!  Her torn and rolled paper distressing is fabulous and I love that she didn't over-do this card.

How I love Halloween.  What a super fun holiday!  I love reaching for yellow, orange, purple and black for this holiday.  Looks like Debby and Teri do too.

Check out this cool tag that Debby made.  I dig those purple clouds!  The way she designed her sentiment really grabbed my attention.  Super perfection :)

I am a sucker for big polka dots and Teri's design is FAB-Ulous!  Those wiggle eyes makes me giggle :)

If you are ever...

feeling glum...these cards will for sure brighten up your day :)

Laurie's scene looks like a blustery day with all of that movement - love that!  Her clouds are colored in a touch with a marker and popped up for added texture.  Her sun is wacky and dang cute!  Those rain drop crystals are brilliant!

Karolyn's polka dots remind me of rain drops, her card would make a wonderful baby shower invite!  I can see changing out the colors of her card with pinks and making it a girly card in an instant.  Fabulous card!!

I have a couple of Oh-Em-Gee cards to share with you all today.  Both showcase our brand spankin' new Perpetual Bliss stamp set.

Hoe cool is this card?!  I just wanna touch it!  I adore those colorful dimes and the spectrum of colors that Kryssi chose.  Pure genius :)

and ahhhhh, some gorgeousness by Heidi.  That bow makes me swoon, but her design takes the cake.  I love the delicate frame and her soft coloring...yummmy!!

Happy Friday!

My goodness...I am thrilled that you love our September stamp sets!!  That makes me OH SO happy!!

I was playing with the Halloweenies stamp set...no idea why my photo is so bad..ack!  I think I would have liked this card better with a kraft card stock base, I think.  I used a ruler and a black pen to draw some extra spider web lines and I finished it off with some Zva Creative crystals.

Here are some fun ways to play with Halloweenies:

k, so the witch can be a girl dressed up for Halloween...or color her with green skin and black hair to make her a real witch!  In case you were wondering, that circle-thingy is an eyeball.  Just add red pen squigglies for blood shot eyes.  Or it can be used to make a crafty background.  That bottle contains potion and googly eyes adds a silly touch to the bat!

We have a long holiday weekend with the kids.  I know we will enjoy our weekend, hope you do too :)
