Pep Rally week continues

Our release is tomorrow night...at midnight.  I am VERY excited about it! i hope you are too.  :)

I have another card sample to share.  I used Teen Routine is a unique way:
  • The smart phone (which can also be used as an I-Pad I am told) is the face
  • I flipped the smart phone so that a "mouth" would be on the bottom
  • The computer mouse images are sad eyes
  • The arrow is the nose

I colored him green to make him look ill.  I admit that I am not in love with this card, but my 13 year old daughter thought it was pretty cool.  I will share more unique uses of this versatile set sometime this month.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Make sure to leave a comment on our blog hop thread (details posted yesterday) for your chance to win one of our newest stamp sets.

Sooo...

We have a NEW designer.  Kalyn Kepner accepted our invitation to join our design team. (super YAY)  I am sooooo very excited about it!  She is super cute and oh so talented!  She is has a unique style...it's fun and cute, it's wicked clever and sometimes it's shabby and vintage.  She can actually rock all styles....you are in for a real treat!  I have admired her work for a long time and I feel that she will make an amazing addition to our team.  You will be inspired - no doubt about that!  She is joining us tomorrow for her first PS DT Blog Hop.  Please welcome Kalyn :)

We have an addition to the team because one of our designers has chosen to step down.  Kryssi Ng is moving onto something new.  I am excited for her and I truly wish her the best.  I am in awe of her talent as I am sure you are too.  I feel fortunate to call her my friend and I will miss working with her immensely.  We can all still stalk her blog to get a taste of her VERY cool style - she's not leaving the industry, just taking another path.  I love you girl :)

Next line of business - Here's a peek at our second NEW July stamp set:

Your guesses yesterday were awesome!  Some of you were dead ON.  My lips are sealed.  You will see more of yesterday's set on Heidi and Kalyn's blogs tomorrow.  Do you have any guesses for this unique stamp set?

Here's the last share of Pip Squeaks for the month.
Teri uses stamps like no other.  She made use of the curved clothes line and hangers.  The heart is the perfect stamped accent.  Her design is flawless and her color choice is just plain fun!  LOVE!!

Today is our June guest designer's last day (boo!)  It has been wonderful having Shilo along for the ride this month.  I can tell that she had a blast with our stamps.  I was blown away with each card that she sent.

Check our how playful and cute this card is!  She took our Green Acres stamp set and worked magic!

L.O.V.E. this design.  Not sure if it came from a sketch, but it's awesome!!!  I am diggin his little outfit and her accent choices are perfection.

Shilo, it's been a pleasure - thank you so much for sharing your talent with us this month :)  Shilo has TWO PS stamp sets to give away - stop by her blog for more details

Our DT Blog hop is tomorrow - stop back for your chance to win one of the newest stamp sets.

I hope you all have an outstanding day today

This week will be FUN

It's sneak peek week...so I will share a tidbit from our NEW sets on Wednesday.  We have an announcement on Wednesday and our DT blog hop is on Thursday.  Lots of fun to look forward to.

I will be sharing the last of our June release projects with you through Thursday.  They are Ah-maZing!  Kryssi and Heidi created the coolest Qwick Qwips cards this month!

I admit it, I am STILL a sucker for kraft.  Most "trends" fade with me, but I am pretty sure that I will always LOVE kraft paper (sigh).  LOVING the doilies and decorative tape.  This card oozes style.

This card is just in time for the Fourth of July celebration.  (YAY is right).  Awesome use of stars - LOVE that pin!!  That kraft twine really g1ves it a homey feel.

Happy Monday friends

Happy Friday

sooo, I mentioned something fun that we have to announce...the special day will be Wednesday, June 27th, so please stay tuned.

Today I'd like to share some fun things that you can do with your CLOUD stamps.  A few days ago I gave away a stamp set on Facebook to the first person to tell me how many stamps we have with a cloud on it.  (The answer was 10!), so I guess you can say that we dig clouds here at the PS homestead :)

Check em' out: Cut Loose, Nirvana, Whimsical, Spiffy Scooters, Sunny Side Up, Forest Whimsy, Eco Friendly, Metropolis, Little Lady, Summer Groves...and these have a cloud shape that you could cut out to use as a cloud: He Said, She Said and Promenade (look closer at the topiary tree)

1. The flower was created by stacking 3 different clouds
2. The popcorn bits came from the Metropolis set...just add coloring
3. Whipped cream added to a coffee cup - mask the coffee cup or cut along the curve in the cup
4. A fluffy cupcake, just add a base by covering it with paper
5. Rolling hills...just place a paper at thew bottom of the cloud, stamp and then draw a line along the opening of the cloud

You could also use clouds as cotton candy, ice cream or a golf green...and other ideas???

...and here is my movie theme card using the clouds from Nirvana:

 Have a super fabulous weekend!!

Something Special to share...and a giveaway

TODAY we released our newest set called "Summer Groves".  This is the eighth stamp set from our "Kismet collection".

Here is my card - I paper pieced the tree "poofs" with different patterns.  I imagine this tree could be used for cotton candy or popcorn maybe?  I made a broccoli stalk out it on one of my samples for the web site, LOL.  I made the tree swing with 2 circle punches.

I have one "Summer Groves" stamp set to give away to one lucky person!  You have until midnight on June 17th to leave a comment.  I will post the winner here on Monday, June 18th.

Our special guests this month are Emily Branch and Mou Saha.  They are both giving away a new Summer Groves stamp set - YAY!  I can't wait to see what they created with this fun set.

In addition to the Summer Groves stamp set that I have to give away...I also have something special to announce.  Our Potpourri stamp set in involved with the new class created by Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner - super yay!   HERE are the details.

Registration is open for the newest Online Card Classes interactive class - Stretch Your Stamps! This class shares techniques and tips for getting the most from many different stamp styles. Each day of class focuses on a certain type of stamp - background, collage, borders, etc - and shows 5 cards (and 2 videos) using them creatively. With 50+ card ideas and 20+ videos, you will be sure to look at your stamps in a whole new light.

In addition to the teachers Kristina Werner and Jennifer McGuire, there are many fabulous guests and special appearances from stamp designers themselves, including Tim Holtz, Ali Edwards, Kim Hughes and Claudine Hellmuth.

Class runs from July 9 - 23. Hope to see you there! Head HERE for more information.

The fun part - I have TWO class spots to give away!!  So, I will choose 2 random people from the comment section of this post to win these fabulous spots.  Good luck :)

Thanks for including us in your day

The PS Patrol...

was out searching for ultra-fabulous Paper Smooches cards to show off...and boy did we find some gems!!  These beauties were found on our Flickr Fan page.

Brenda Campbell
Loving the soft colors...GREAT design (her product placement is perfect (and so is her coloring)
(My Guy)

Donna Mikasa
I am a sucker for art...so this card makes me giddy!  I think it's great that she didn't over work the design and let the bold statement shine :)  A simple rounded corner ties this design in nicely.

Seriously, how cute is this???  Clever, sweet and just dang dreamy!!  L-O-V-E

...and THIS card is such a CRACK-UP!!  Her coloring is WOW and the concept is pure genius!!  (Did you notice her shiny gold teeth?)  Visit her blog to read about how she came up with this idea...too cute!

Tenia's card makes me happy.  Fun and playful colors, flirty baker's twine, silly googly eyes - what's not to love?  I am thrilled that she used the microphone from our Perpetual Bliss set (clever girl)

Thank you all so much for sharing your talent with us :)
hugs,

Hola

I have some especially fun cards to share with you today...

Teri's card uses Qwick Qwips in the most delicious way.  LOVE that color combo...it's like a tropical berry smoothie!!  The bird adds the perfect touch - great card :)

I am excited that Shilo is back with us this week - woohoooo!   She created two shabby chic cards that I am giddy to share.  LOVE the shape of this card...and it's so fun and flirty!!  Take a closer look at the sweet little touches (the pearl pin, the corrugated heart, scallops and gingham...the delicate flowered pattern in the background and her perfect stitching.  And if that wasn't enough, she completed the inside oh so perfectly.

She did it again with the little nugget.  This card is very feminine, but can easily become masculine.  LOVE the tag treatment behind the stork. The blue highlight really makes the images POP!  Fabulous cards Shilo!!

Enjoy your Wednesday cute friends.  Thanks so much for stopping by :0)

Rugrats...

...and Pip Squeaks...are just dang cute, aren't they?  K, so I hope the baby's eyes don't creep you out, but they needed to be that size in order to color them the way you like.  Emily used the teddy bear perfectly.  I imagine there are other PS images that will work well also.  Maybe our sailboat or maybe he can hold the hand of one of our critters.  Emily used the sentiment from our Green Acres stamp set and words from Helping Hands and Word Up to dress up her die cut mat...GREAT card!!  Ack - I just noticed the stamped dashed line...the stamp is from Santa Paws.  Boy, she has a way of making amazing use of our stamps - WOW!

sigh - what an incredibly gorgeous card this is...

It's a little hard to tell by the photo, but I think that little bundle is wrapped in a glittery blanket (swoon).  LOVE these colors...perfect design and flirty touches.  Stunning card Laurie :)

It's the second week in June and I am not sure how I feel about that.  Is time flying for you too?
Thank you for stopping by friends

Country Bumpkins unite

Kryssi must have been playing with bleach...at least that's how I think she created this fabulous look:  VERY cool card, isn't it?

...and YAY for girly farmers!!  Isn't this card a complete crack up?  I adore those fun freckles and paper pieced outfit.  Yeah, I am swooning all over the place, LOL

Enjoy your Monday friends

TGIF

I realized that I hadn't offered up some little tips using our May stamp release...so here ya go:

We started including smiley faces separate from the images last June with our Swanky Snowdudes stamp set.  I thought it would make our images more versatile and stand our from the rest.  Then in July 2011, I included 3 different sized smiley faces with our Sugar Rush stamp set.  I figured that not everyone liked the look of these silly grins, so it was best to let designers use them as they like.  The idea was a HIT!  I think it's a fun option.  So, many of our sets have separate smiley faces including our Sunny Side Up, Hot Concoctions, Wake Up, Healthy Vibes and Spring Fling stamp sets.  More to come (wink)

If you stamp the fireworks on the Circle of Honor stamp set twice, you will create a funky flower or dandelion.  You can stamp the fireworks stamps in between each space to create a random pattern and you can color the camouflage heart any color combo you like.

...and the champagne class on our Hubby and Wifey stamp set can also be a cake stand.

In honor of a simple color POP...here's a card that showcases this cool look!

A few boxes are glittered (use a Sakura glue pen) and others have a few red jewels.  FUN!

Have a fabulous weekend friends

Our guest...

for June begins today - Yay!  I am excited to have Shilo Miles join us this month :

Unfortunately her package is taking a scenic route to Canada and her new June stamps haven't arrived yet.  So she was sweet to create new cards using PS stamps that she already has.

all together now...Awwww.  Isn't this card just darling?  I love the googly eye with the eyelid and lashes.  The touch of lace really adds a fabulous touch to this delicate card.

Unless my eyes deceive me...that is the cutest glittered up gator I have ever seen.  How stinkin' FUN!!!  Great way to start off your guest month Shilo!!

Teri created this darling scene using Pip Squeaks and Spring Groves stamp sets - SUPER cute huh?  I love the water colored look :)  I have a twin brother, so this card stole my heart.

Get ready...our next guest designer search begins tomorrow...wooohoooo

Green Acres

I am amazed at the super fun creations I am seeing with this stamp set!

Our designers seem to be having a blast with it as well...

Feast your eyes on this soft and pretty card!!  I love the delicate yellow chicks...I am gonna have to try that.  LOVE the texture and design :)

Emily chose soft pastel colors too - very cool!  I am diggin' the colorful hills with wild grass.  Her goat is perfection...and that touch of hot pink really makes this fun guy pop!

A NEW SPARKS Challenge was posted yesterday.  Our sparks designers rocked the trend that we are featuring.  Check it out...I hope you play along :)

Helllllo Monday!

We are officially into our June release and I am thrilled to see how much you are enjoying our newest stamps.

Our amazing design team ROCKED this release, no kidding.  Check these out!

I LOVE how Heidi colored the giraffe's eye...it really adds such a sweet touch to her.  Her color combo, design and special touches absolutely makes me grin from ear to ear.

And how pretty is this???  Kryssi created this lovely card by combining four words from Quick Quips and adding a couple of others to create this VERY cool little message.

I hope you are inspired...I know I am :)

Enjoy your day friends

My favorite day of the month...

release day!

Please welcome our newest stamps.

Here are some ideas that might get your creative juices flowing...

There is a "leaf shaped" image on the Green Acres stamp set that is intended to make your farm guy a gal.  Can you just picture her with cute pink overalls?

There is a solid heart on the Pip Squeaks set that fits beautifully inside the open heart on the dress.  The flower on the bib is from Spring Fling.  The duck fits perfectly on the bib and onsie.

Here are some samples of how to use the mini solid images on the Qwick Qwips stamp set

here is a card that I created using all three sets:

You still have time to comment on the design team's blogs for your chance to win one of our newest stamp sets.  All three sets are available now :)
