You're Purrrty!

Heidi and Kalyn created with NINE LIVES and chose the same sentiment and pink is their focal color...LOVE how these two cards compliment each other.  Both so soft and pretty.  Did you see how they used the paw print as an accent?  LOVE how fun and flirty these cards are!!  Both girls are crazy-amazing fussy-cutters!  (and Heidi's card uses one of our new frame dies)

"Nine Lives" releases at midnight EST tonight...stay tuned, something fun is coming...

I hope you all have a safe, healthy and prosperous NEW YEAR!
Raising my toasting glass - Cheers friends!
Thank you for your love and support over the past year - we wouldn't be here without you.

We Connect

I have some "We Connect" cards to share today but first I'd like to mention one of my favorite magazines...Creating Keepsakes.  I have a layout in the Jan/Feb 2013 issue and I used PS stamps of course.  My first layout was published over eight years ago and it is still as exciting as that first time.  I am a scrapbooker that turned into a card maker that morphed into a stamper - what a fun ride!
Here is half of my page - to see the whole double page layout, you will need to see it in the latest issue.  I used Reflections to accent my journal spot.

With Christmas right around the corner...this tag is a great idea!  What an easy way to dress up a package!

Emily's card is so sweet!  The We Connect stamp set can be used in s many ways...no need to connect words with an ampersand.  The words are string enough to stand alone.

I am sure many of you are out shopping - I hope you are enjoying this festive time of year!
smooches!

It's a winner-day!

Heidi's monochromatic Flap Happy card is cool - in more ways than one...cool because it's just plain fun to look at and cool because of the colors that she chose, it reminds me of winter or cold water.

...and Kalyn's card is hot!  She chose warm tones...and this card concentrates on the hombre effect.  I love how she combined the large and small solid butterfly. swwwwwoooooon!

...and now to announce the winner of our new Bee Mine stamp set!

BUNCO...

do you know about BUNCO?  My Mother In Law invited me to be a sub when I first started dating her son a few years back and I am thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful group of women!  We had our Christmas party last night and I had a ball.  Lynda and I were the hosts and I think it went well  :)  The ages range from me (at 41) and go up to about age 75.  I LOVE these girls and have so much fun with once a month.  Have you heard of the game BUNCO - and have you played it before?  If you are unfamiliar - it's a dice game between 12 people.

I ask my design team to create two cards per stamp set...and sometimes depending on how the month falls, there is a lone card that doesn't get shown.  Technically it's for the sneak peeks, but our manufacturing has been delayed for months, so it's hard to give them as much time to create as I'd like.  I have finally been able to get stamps into their hands quite early, so I think I will be able to start sneak peeking stamps earlier than the blog hops - yay!

So today I have two cards to share by Emily and Laurie using Flap Happy :)

ummm - WOW!  What an incredible card this is!  It looks like she stamped a border and then fussy-cut along the outside edges.  LOVE the spritzing!  I am back to WOW!

Here's another outstanding card by Emily.  She used the back side of the butterfly stamp to add color to the butterfly - LOVE!

and ahhhh, Laurie's cards are soooo elegant and beautiful!  Swwwwooon-so pretty!

...and one more card to make you smile.  What a wonderful idea to highlight one of the butterflies.  I think it's fabulous that she created a neutral background to make the accent butterfly the main focus - Brilliant!!

I hope these cards have inspired you today.
Happy Tuesday friends

Kalyn's card is darling.  I imagine this would make a great Christmas card....just change the sentiment and add a Santa hat...voila, a whole new theme :)  Isn't this so sweet?

Torn paper dirt, frayed cut paper grass...great design - what's not to love?  I swooned when I saw this card - I adore every little inch!!

Thank you for stopping by....I love that you took the time :)

TGIF

We are picking up our Christmas tree TONIGHT - super YAY!  I didn't think I was ready for Christmas, but now I think I am.  I am not ready to listen to Christmas music voluntarily, but I am getting in the mood finally.  Do you own your Christmas tree or buy a real tree every year?  I used to own one with the lights already attached (boy was it easy to put together) but my husband has a tradition of buying a new tree each year and I am totally game.  I like it soooo much better than a fake one.  He is the one who takes care of it, so that's probably why it's an extra dream for me LOL

Today I have a very clever card that was chosen as our SPARKS challenge winner:

Congrats Stacy Buller!!

I LOVE, love, LOVE your card!!  You are so talented :)

This was her inspiration....and she nailed it!

Our NEW challenge is a crazy-easy one!  It's a trend watch...

Use a camera, polaroid, photo etc on a project - have fun with it!!  I hope you play along :)  Please tell your friends too...I'd love to see new players!  Our design team rocks - big time....I am sure they will inspire you.  Visit our SPARKS challenge blog to share your project

Have a great weekend friens

Oh My!

I have reallllly enjoyed hearing about your pet names!  I realize this is an early plug...but I am willing to take the risk!  I designed a CAT THEME set and it releases NEXT month (huge wink)  I am excited about it and hope you love it as much as our dog theme stamp set :)

I was cropping with friends over the weekend and had a ball thinking up a combined name for a doberman/poodle mix!  I am sure you can imagine the possibilities.

And here is a card with our BUTTERFLY theme set called Flap Happy.  Do you find Teri's card even half as amazing as I do?  I think this card is over-the-top incredible in every way!!  She stamped the solid butterfly in five colors and stamped the black outlined butterflies on top - GREAT look!!

Grisel is our December guest - woohooo.  For some reason, her package took a detour between AZ and NJ and her stamps arrived late - ack!  But she was sweet to create a temporary card to share today.  Check out this sparkly little nugget!  Not sure if you can tell but this adorable owl has glittery eyeshadow and the sentiment has glittered edges as well.  TOTALLY sweet card!

Our next guest designer search begins TOMORROW - yay!

Have a great day friends
smooches!
