Hola

Happy Tuesday!

We are gearing up for our March release on Friday!  Not sure if you read that we will have a die release only.  It was so hard to pull a stamp release together after such busy prep time for CHA.  I am all caught up and April stamps and dies are all set.  I am looking forward to drawing our May release.

Today we are showcasing our Leafy Greens stamp set.  This set is included with all orders over $60. for February and March.  If you placed a qualifying order in February and place another qualifying order in March, I am happy to change out the free stamp set for anther...just leave me a note in the comments section.

Karolyn added stamps from the Bold Blooms set.  She used the velveteen stamp technique - cool huh?  Love the flirty scalloped edge and her color combo - swooon!

so this is very cool!  It looks like Emily cut the Hickory leaf die and added it to her paper - and then ran it through her die cutting machine with an embossing folder.  Seriously fun!!  LOVE the gold glitter by the way.

Laurie's card is amazing.  That button accent is a perfect match!!  She used our Alphawhimsy alphabet dies for her sentiment.  LOVE the stamped leaf paper panel.

I hope these beautiful cards have inspired you to create today
smooches!

TGIM

"Thank God it's Monday!  Ohhhh how I LOVE Monday's!!  I got a lot accomplished over the weekend, so this morning feels extra nice.  All I can say is that crazy-fun things are coming from PS in April...just sayin' :)

I am sharing the last cards from our DT using our February release this week.  Our design team is second to none.  Every month is a treat!  Thursday is our blog hop and I look forward to sharing our March die release with you...it's totally unique and I hope you like it.

Laura's simple graphic design is just WOW!  I am amazed at how perfect her stamping is...

Kalyn's stamped background makes me happy.  It's subtle and adds a great touch!  The Notebook Bracket die is an excellent paper panel for her easel.  Just dreamy!!

And Heidi - sweet Heidi knocked it out of the park!!  LOVE her paint drips!!!  Her card would look great with Laura's card in a set, don't ya think?

Thank you for joining us today - I LOVE that you are here!

Yup...

I am posting on Saturday :)

I have some fun things to share...and it just couldn't wait until Monday.

I was lucky to work with Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine for two years as their design team coordinator.  I had a blast working with them and we have stayed close friends.  I was invited to be a part of their new special idea book called Card Maps 3 and I imagine that it will be a fabulous issue (all of theirs are).  The line up of designers is amazing and I feel fortunate to be a part of it.  I have six cards in the issue and some of them showcase PS stamps and dies!  I hope you check it out :)

I have a winner to announce...this is the latest winner on our SPARKS challenge blog
Congrats Lydia!!  Your card is absolutely DARLING!!!

The challenge that ends on Sunday is a cool shades challenge...using THESE COLORS...

You still have time to leave a comment over at the Moxie Fab World blog for your chance to win FIVE PS stamp sets!

Hope your weekend is great!

I have a treat for you...

I have design team cards using our new dies...

Emily
She used the Flourishes dies in such a creative way, didn't she.  How fun is this???
(Flourishes dies, Birthday Sampler, Helping Hands, Sunny Side Up)

Heidi
Her card is refreshing and super cute!  She used the Flag Tag die to create a flag (just fold and stamp sentiment)
(Cupcake die, Flag Tags dies, Birthday Sampler)

Kalyn
I totally swooned over this card!  She used the window in the Large Hot Spots die to showcase her sentiment....love the buttons and "fabric" looking patterned papers.
(Hot Spots Large Base die, Loopy Leaf die, Hickory Leaf die, Sprirtual Sampler, Leafy Greens)

Karolyn
LOVE this trendy card - those diagonals and chevron are drool-worthy!  It's very cool how she used the dotted line as a road (LOVE)
(Hot Spots Small Base die, Hot Spots SM Set 1 die, Metropolis, Birthday Sampler)

Kimmers
Love the nuclear yellow base - it really adds flair to this edgy card.  The green and red stamped paper lines are perfect!  The popped up elements really adds a fabulous touch!
(Notebook Bracket die, Great Chemistry, Notebook Paper)

Laura
The simplicity of this card is fantastic!  I think it's grat that she used the banner die without the coordinating stamp set - it shows you how versatile it is.
(Streamers dies, Chit Chat, Bold Blooms)

Laurie
Her color combo really speaks to me - the design and texture added to this card really makes it stand out!
(Loopy Leaf die, Leafy Greens, Birthday Sampler)

Teri
LOVING the layered frame dies!  The peeking leprechaun is a crack up!  I think it's great that she popped up the stamped panel.
(Duo Die 3, A Magical Spring)

I will share the SPARKS Challenge winner on a blog post tomorrow.

Cath gave us her "Stamp of approval" and we are featured over at the Moxie Fab World Blog...you will have the chance to wiin FIVE stamp sets if you leave a comment...Good Luck!

Thanks for joining us today.
I am thrilled that you made us a part of your day

10 Minute Craft Dash...

Today Paper Smooches is proud to be a sponsor for the 10 minute craft dash challenge...

Some of our designers played along and I can't wait to see their cards made in 10 minutes or less...well we all tried to keep it within that time frame :)

The challenge is to use this color combo:

...and IF you play along...you have a chance to win a prize!!
...as luck would have it - our Cool Shades color challenge is this week at our SPARKS Challenge blog and the colors are an almost exact match!  Funny how that can happen (I chose those colors over four months ago)  If you play along with the 10 minute craft dash...your project can also be submitted at our challenge blog for your chance to win a prize also.

My card took about 7 minutes...the ink colors started out the correct shades but changed when I stamped them onto the cream card stock.

 My video is LIVE!!

There is about 17 hours left to apply for our guest designer spot for next month - details are HERE

I Heart Art stamp set is on deck to brag about...

Teri used the Clipboard (stamps and dies) to accent her darling card!  The main paper panel is our Notebook Basic die.  She added water to the stamped paint splats - it looks awesome!!

Kim's card is so trendy and super FUN! Her sentiment is stamped on our Flag Tags die.  I love how she colored the paint tube...and chose black and white to make her colors really POP!!

Our guest designer Kristin knocked this set out of the park!  Isn't this card incredible???  Crazy-LOVE that background!!  Seriously couldn't love this card more...

Here is another card that she created for us today...yeah...this is an amazing card!!  I can see this card created in many different colors and given as a gift set.

Sooo, tomorrow our guest designer will be announced and on Friday...I am going to post some design team cards created with our new dies.

Have a fabulous half-way day friends
Thanks so uch for stopping by!

Spring...

is magical - isn't it?  That's why I named the set A Magical Spring...

Laurie's card is simple and totally sweet!  LOVE that arrow paper clip!!

Karolyn took a completely different approach with this versatile stamp set.  The beer has froth - didja notice?  Chevron and polka dots - what's not to love???

Emily's card is just dang cute!!  How funny that she gave the bunny a beer to hold - LOL!!  She also used the shamrock cluster for flowers - love!

I am cropping today - will you be stamping???

We have a special treat for you tomorrow - so please stay tuned...

Survivor...

one of my favorite shows starts back up tonight and I am so excited about it!  I hardly ever watch TV but I look forward to watching Survivor twice a year.  Anyone with me?

Kristin created this fantastic card for us to show off today.  I love the happy yellow and paint splatters  Her banners are the perfect touch to this fun card :)  She used the beer mug from A Magical Spring stamp set and combined it with a sentiment from Word Up.

Teri combines the Leafy Greens stamp set with our Hickory Leaf die.  What a fabulous background!!  The sentiment is from Spiritual Sampler - L-O-V-E!!

It looks like Kim used some Pigment inks for this amazing card!  I wonder if she spritzed water on her stamp before pressing it onto her card.  Either way - it looks very cool!  I will be stalking Kim's blog to see if she mentions how she made this background.  Kim also used the Spiritual Sampler stamp set.

That's all folks...
....please join me tomorrow to see five amazing LOVE theme cards that I found on our Flickr Fan Page.

Birthday cards

They are one of the most popular card giving occasions and I never seem to have them on hand and cringe when I need to make a card for a specific person.  It's a hang up of mine.  Do you have a stash of Birthday cards?  Someday I will...it only makes sense, that's a BIG someday though.  LOL

Today I have some Birthday Sampler cards to share:

First up - Emily.  OMG I have never seen Party Pals look so good!  LOVE how the background paper really helps the theme stand out - great product choices!  It's great that the sentiment fits perfectly inside the balloon!

Karolyn's card is just plain COOL!  She stamped the triangles from our Tri-balation stamp set in color and outlined them with grey ink - awesome effect!  Love how the sentiment has a clean space all to itself to make it shine!!

Laurie combined Birthday Sampler with our new Cupcake and Streamers dies.  She also stamped with the Streamers stamp set to add a subtle frame around her sentiment.  LOVE the stitches, and dimension.  I want to eat this card up - it crazy-rocks!!

I have a special challenge for you this week.  In honor of Valentine's day - I'd LOVE to see your PS projects that has a HEART on it.  This challenge is to create a NEW card with a heart on it, but I am totally fine if you share an old project.  You have until Thursday (2/14) at midnight MT to play along...winner is announced this Friday.

The prize?  TWO stamps and ONE die - winner's choice.

xx Kim
