Slang Gang

Hey "Gang"!  I'd like to introduce you to our newest sentiment stamp set.  I have teens at home who use some of the phrases that I chose and Ia m sure that many of you use them too.  What a fun way to reach out to friends and family.

My goodness - this is one VERY cool card!!  Laurie stamped "dude" multiple times and darkened one for extra emphasis...and used a cutting file to create that fabulous bomb!  Crazy-fun!

Emily's card is a crack up!  She used our Woofers & Tweeters stamp set along with the Woofers dies and Borders 1 wave die.  She chewed up the shoes with scalloped scissors.  Shoes from our Retail Therapy stamp set)  Clever girl :)

If you missed yesterday's blog post - scroll down...I shared our entire May release.  Everything goes live tonight at midnight (eastern time...which is 9:00 pm our time)

Hope to see you tonight

Hi friends!

I just got back into town.  I was teaching at a retreat in Bass Lake, California.  It was a LOT of fun!  I'll chat more about it later.  The trees were beyond tall, so that made it very difficult to get an Internet signal...UGH  I am so sorry for the delayed post.

Today we have cards using our newest TAM stamp set called Digits!  I am seriously excited about this new set!

Heidi created this super adorable card for an eight year old's birthday.  LOVING the bold gold!!

Kalyn's card is just plain coooool!!  LOVE the stamped numbers in the background.  She added a new sentiment that really sets this card off - L*O*V*E!

here are the cards that I was supposed to post on Saturday but couldn't get online:

Karolyn used our Baby Shower dies along with our Pip Squeaks and Shindig stamp sets.  Crazy cute, isn't it???  Can you just see this card created in monochromatic pinks?  swoon

Laura used our Anchor die along with our Ovals 1 dies and Wicked Nauticool stamp set.  It's a GREAT masculine card!

...and since I wasn't able to really hype our newest release...I thought I'd share the entire release with you right now (grin)

Please welcome:

sailboats and ovals...

check it!

I love Karolyn's color combo.  I imagine that red instead of green would look amazing as well.  That die cut oval is brilliant - what a fantastic look!!

Laura created a little window with her Oval die.  What a gorgeous scene :)  (love the white sentiment)

Market Fresh projects to share....

Kim's card is so fresh and super F-U-N!!  Love the happy colors...and her coupon rocks!!
To go coffee cup is from our Hot Concoctions stamp set

Teri's card is the bomb!  Love her little love jars!   Did you know that the smallest oval dies from our Ovals 1 dies fits perfectly on our jar stamp?  We literally built the set around that one concept :)

Annie Rose is back with us again this week, but sadly...it's her last week with us.  I have really enjoyed getting to "work" with her.  That's a LOT of talent in one girl :)  Annie - it's been a pleasure - thank you (hugs)

Hello friends!

I hope your Monday was better than anticipated.  Mine was, I got a LOT completed.  Chipping away at a "to do" list always feels great!

Today I have a couple of fun get well cards to share, using our First Aid Kit stamps.

I adore Emily's little road...and the swoosh really adds a sweet touch.  Her coloring is fabulous too!

Laurie used our Borders 1 die for her backdrop.  Love the heart washi tape - it reminds me of a band aid :)

Have a fabulous day!!

Our design team....

is brilliant - just sayin'!
Shadows is the stamp set that Kalyn and Heidi used for these amazing cards...

Kalyn used multiple ovals stamps to create rain drops.  The umbrella die is from our Baby Shower dies set and the sentiment is from the First Aid Kit stamp set.  I love the three shades of bus she chose - what a fun and playful card!

Heidi's card is filled with Shadows stamps...look closely...
The flower and leaves were both created with oval stamps (then she fussy-cut around them)
The pattern in the center of the oval die are stamped borders.  She altenated three ink colors to create this fabulous look!
The oval frame was created with our Ovals 1 dies.
...just WOW!!

Thursday is our blog hop, so please stay tuned....
Thanks for sopping by :)
love you!

More dies to share

Today I have two nautical theme cards to show off...created by Kim and Teri

Teri used our Nauticool dies along with the Wicked Nauticool stamp set...her paper banners are Flag Tag dies :) I love the pop of teal and the color that the chain made when she stamped white onto navy.  Her card is perfectly balanced and just so fun to look at!

Ahhhhh, the yellow on this cool card really draws me in!  Kimmers used our Ovals 1 dies along with the Anchor die.  The sentiment is from our Wicked Nauticool stamp set.  I am a sucker for thin stripes, so this card really knocks my socks off!  So clean and crisp - swoooon.

Today is an errand day for me, not a fan really.  I hope your plans include something fun today!
Have a good one :)
xx Kim

Sending...

<<<<healthy vibes>>>> to anyone who is currently sick at the moment.  It's never fun.  If you are feeling icky, maybe these First Aid Kit cards will help you to feel better today:

Laura created a slide with our Borders 1 die.  These are easier to create than you may think.  I am not sure how she made hers, but a simple penny behind the ambulance will make a great sliding base.  This card is brilliant!!

Karolyn created cool patterned paper by stamping the band aids in different colors and turning them along her paper.  The movement of her custom paper really draws my eye down to the sweet sentiment.  LOVE this darling card!!

Happy Firday my friends!
smooches!!

WOW!

I am having a ball readling about you and your ages!  I am surprised to see how many of you are in your 40's like me :)  I turned 42...and it looks like there are a LOT of us - who knew?  There also seems to be a lot of Aries birthdays - very cool!   THANK YOU for all of the wonderful birthday wishes.  You all made my day - extra amazing!

Here are some amazing cards using our Shadows stamp set . . .

Teri added a subtle pattern to the Hexalongs dies either with a Versamark ink pad...or colored inks that are a shade or two darker than the cardstock.  This is a really fun card - my eye follows along the patterns and takes me down to the sweet sentiment.

Kim's card is bold and bright!  This would make a wonderful retirement, graduation or birthday card.  She added word bubbles from the He Said, She Said stamp set and it looks awesome!!!

Annie Rose rocked our First Aid Kit stamp set.  I am sure this would look cool if she used ovals from our Shadows stamp set instead of the pills also.   The cascading pills make a really cool backdrop - I love it!!  That bold sentiment is fabulous!

Our new guest designer will be announced tomorrow...have you put your name in the hat yetr?  There's still time...details are HERE

...and you still have a chance to be one of SIX birthday winners...see yesterday's blog post.

Happy half-way day friends
hugs,
Kim

Birthday's...

are wonderful, aren't they?  Your own special day to call your own.  In my case it's shared with my twin, but it's still my day of the year.  TODAY happens to be my birthday. (grin)  Gifts are nice...so I'd like to give some gifts today as well.

I have five birthday theme stamps...and a cupcake die that is just perfect for this fun occasion

Cupcake dies

Birthday Buddies

Birthday Sampler

Hullabaloo

Party Pals

Party Posse

I will randomly choose SIX winners - (one winner for each product linked above).  You must share the age you will be in 2013 to qualify.  You have until midnight tomorrow, April 17th to leave a comment on this post.  I will announce the winners on Thursday, April 18.  Good luck!

Laurie and Emily chose the same image/sentiment from our Wicked Nauticool stamp set...and combined them with the Nauticool dies and Borders 1 dies.  VERY cool how that worked out!

Love the stars stamped in the background.  Did you notice her stamped chain frame?  Her border looks like a whimsical scalloped border - but it can also be the top of striped waves - so neat!

Emily chose colors that makes me swooooon.  LOVE the focus on that beautifully colored sailboat.  Perfection!  I have no idea how she combined that border die with the boat...hoping she will make a video tutorial for us.

I hope you have a fabulous day!
Smooches!!

Market Fresh

Hello sweet friends.
We had a blast at the CKC retail show over the weekend.  It was a lot more fun than I thought it would be.   The energy of a CKC show is infectious and boy did I enjoy it!  I was walking into the show and a woman behind me was talking to her friend...I overheard her say "We are in scrapbooking heaven"...she stopped for a moment...and then she said it again.  I thought that was crazy cute!! I took photos and will share them when I can get them edited.

Today I have two Market Fresh cards to share - VERY cute ones...

Some simple masking...clever stamping and perfect design makes this card ultra-amazing!  She used the Alphadot stamp set to customize her sentiment.  Seriously LOVE this card!!

Kalyn's card reminds me of a teen's locker for some reason...I just dig it!!  Those flair buttons are the perfect accents.  I adore this card more and more each time I look at it :)

It's a whole new week friends - go and make the most of it!
Love ya!!

Ovals...

...it all started with a jar...the jar from our Market Fresh stamp set.  I wanted a label on the jar...but then I thought someone might want to put a little "something" IN the jar, and that it was best to design it as a clear jar.  Sooooo, the smallest oval in our Ovals 1 die set fits exactly on the jar - cool huh?  The rest of the ovals ascended from there.

Check out these great "ovals 1" cards...

Emily created this fun carpet for her cat!  She just off-set the ovals just a tad to make it look like a rug.  The banner is from Flag Tags die set and she also used a die that coordinates with our Nine Lives stamp - set to release on May 1st!  Very cute card!!

Laurie used the Ovals 1 die to create a frame for her cool nautical card!  The sentiment was stamped onto our Streamers stamp set and then cut with our Steamers die.  LOVE the white rope and red button - fabulous in every way!!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend my friends.
loves,
Kim

Friday, April 12, 2013

hey hey, it's Friday!

Ahhhh these are some truly fabulous Market Fresh cards.

Karolyn used the UPC code stamp to create the striped paper on the bottom - isn't it so cool?  I know she uses our dies for her flowers, but I can't remember which ones...I'll have to ask her and pass that along later :)

I reallllllly love Laura's little coupon!  I am personally not a coupon shopper because well, I am not very good at it.  I admire those of you who rock at it!

That's it for me today...I am exhausted.  Today we set up our booth at CKC in Mesa (the show if Fri/Sat).  It was a LOT of hard work, but I am thrilled with the final result.  I have my camera packed and will share photos when I can.

smooches!!
Kim
