Happy Halloween!!  Our new release has nothing to do with Halloween, so I was determined to make a Halloween card using our new release somehow.  So, I used the snowflakes from our new FRESH SNOW stamp set to decorate my pumpkins.  The pumpkins are punched circles...the left one is popped up.  The base accent paper is a forest green color, so I colored some of my epoxy stickers with a Copic marker to match.  It actually worked!  The accent paper that holds the sentiment is one of our new TOPPERS dies.  The sentiment is from Halloweenies and it's is stamped on our Flag Tags die.
  • Trick-or-treating harks back to the Middle Ages and All Souls’ Day, when poor people in Britain would beg for soul cakes, a sweet-bread treat, and pray for dead relatives in return.
  • When trick-or-treating first became popular in the United States in the 1800s, more children played mischievous pranks than asked for candy. By the 1950s, though, the focus had switched to good old family fun, with sugar-hyped children dressed in costumes.

sneak peek day 3 (and a tutorial)

Hello friends!

Today I have a couple of fun things to share...

FIRST - a sneak of another new November stamp set.  This one is called Fresh Snow and is our November TAM stamp set!

Kim stamped white snowflakes on a black background - it looks like chalkboard!  The white ink gives them a soft blue-ish tone that she embraced with her ribbon and bling choice.  FABulous card!!  She used nearly all the snowflakes and sentiment from the set :)

Teri's card is FUNky!  LOVING the colored snowflakes, it's a sweet surprise for a winter card!  The bling and string adds the perfect touch.  L.O.V.E

This is the last card we have for Karin, our October guest designer.  Last week I thought it was her last week - but there's 5 weeks in the month - yay!  Bonus for us :)  I adore her CAS card, it's simply perfect :)  Thanks again Karin...Cheers!

SECOND - I have a mini tutorial at the Scrapbook & Cards Today blog today, using our Flag Tags dies.  You must check it out!

THIRD - here is another super-mini tutorial of how to make easy banners from our Flag Tags dies:

Score with your Scor-Buddy or your trimmer and blunt edge. and simply fold.

FOURTH - Tomorrow is our PS DT Blog hop!  I hope you can stop by to be inspired and comment for your chance to win a gift certificate  :)

Sneak Peek 2

Our new website is live and I am sooooo excited!  There are a couple of things I need to tweak, but it's 99% complete  :)  I'd LOVE to hear what you think.

As you may know, our fabulous designer Laurie Schmidlin gave birth to a darling baby boy early this month.  So, she is on maternity leave and will return with our December release.  You will start seeing her beautiful projects again, starting with our November blog hop.

I asked one of my favorite designers to step in for Laurie this month...
The amazing Erin Lincoln is joining us - woohoooo!!

Please welcome sneak peek # 2 on cards created by Emily and Erin!

This set is called Enjoy the Show!

Emily's amazing circus tent must be a cut file...it's not one of our dies though.  What a fun shaped card!!  She used the clown and sentiment from the new stamp set (along with the coordinating die)  Fantastic coloring Miss Emily!!  Seriously, what a crazy-cute card!

And wham - there it is - pure creativity!  Erin created an interactive card with the juggling balls...we'll have to stalk her blog to find out how she did that :).   I love the primary colors, the way she colored her image and her sweet sentiment (which is stamped onto one of our new dies)

Scallops have approximately 100 eyes around the edge of its shell
(hmmm, not sure if that is creepy or cute)

love ya!! Kim

You are in for a treat!  I am sneak peeking early since there are 5 weeks in the month!  Our PS DT blog hop is this Thursday.  I hope you join us :)

We are installing a NEW web site design today at 11:00 am PT.  The store will be down shortly (for about an hour).  Oh my goodness, I am so excited to show you what we have been up to!

The first November stamp set is called...Calorie Free.  I will let the cute samples speak for themselves.

Kalyn used the pretzel image and sentiment.  I love her cute washi accent!  Imagine how cool that image will look heat embossed :)

Heidi used the sushi image with coordinating sentiment.  SDhe cut chopsticks and created this fabulous card!  I love the bold colors!!  Her coloring is just wow - and so is this card.  (she used the coordinating dies as well)

yup, you guessed it...a punny food theme stamp set.   It's totally fun.

Hey friends!

Our Poinsettia dies are selling almost as well as our Christmas Words dies...they are flying off the shelves!

Karolyn's poinsettia flower looks store bought!  She die cut through canvas and the result is fabulous!!  Her leaves are felt and the stocking is a cut file.  The twine behind her flower really adds a nice rustic touch...oh how I love this shabby-vintage card  :)

Laura's card is crisp and bold and oh so amazing!  Using the negative from a die cut looks so cool!!  Her poinsettia POPS!!

Laurie's card is so very cool!  Loving the glitter paper and purple is a fabulous choice!!  I want to point out the dimension too - love it!!

I have some elf goodness for you today...

I love that Kim and Teri used the Duo Die 2 frame and the same sentiment from Enchanted Elves stamp set...and they achieved two totally different looks.  They rocked the Elf Icons dies.

I adore this cute scene.  Teri made this adorable framed photo of his girl and designed this card so perfectly.  Crazy-love!!!

Kim added die cut leaves from our Poinsettia die collection...it really adds a fabulous touch to this Christmasy-card  :)  (great coloring too)

TGIF!!  nuff said  :)

This is an OMG card!  Karolyn stamped her own coordinating paper and I love that she stamped the gingerbread man in white!  The peppermint striped patterned paper is perfect and so is her sentiment - fabulous card!!!

...and ymmmm!  Laura stamped cupcake toppers!!  Coordinating dies makes these cuties so easy to make...it gives them a finished look on the back and a clean outline.  Adorable cupcake covers too.  Oh how I love these :)
