Hello friends
I am going to a craft retreat on Friday through Monday. Orders will not ship during this time.
Orders placed on Oct. 18, 19, 20, 21 will ship on Tuesday, October 22.
My daughter would normally step in for me to fill orders but her hands are full with her toddler and infant twins (they are three weeks old)

I appreciate your patience while I am away getting some much needed craft time with friends.

I will fill orders until Thursday night.

Celebrities have to pay $30k for their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. They must sign a form stating that they want a star and that they will attend the unveiling of it. Celebrities Julia Roberts, Clint Eastwood, Denzel Washington, and Al Pacino still
don’t have a star.

10.13 Sunday Recap

Good morning, Paper Smooches fans!

Savannah O'Gwynn here today to share a quick recap of #allthingsPaperSmoches ❤️

Be sure to check out our NEW October release HERE! We have THREE new stamp sets, FOUR new dies, and TWO new stencils available for purchase!

Don't forget to join in our newest monthly challenge HERE. We are challenging you to find inspiration from the PS DT! You can click their blog links (found on the sidebar) or scroll through the PS blog for inspiration.
I created a card for this challenge yesterday 👏🏻
Q: Do you happen to know who I was inspired by?

Jill is a crafty GENIUS! I love her style- simple, large white space, and pops of color. She also does some stitching on her projects. I didn't add any stitching to this simple card design- I guess I didn't even think of it until just now as I was writing this post! LOL 🤦🏼‍♀️ PS stamps/dies/stencils I used include: Thank You die, Essentials stencil

You can click HERE for more details about this challenge or link up below!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

That's it for me today. I hope you are enjoying your weekend and finding some time to get crafty!

Be sure to stop by daily for MORE inspiration from the PS DT-- this team is SUPER talented and so crafty!

Be blessed ❤️ Sav

Mario Puzo, the author of the Godfather books who’d also adapted them to film, had no idea what he was doing as ’d never written a screenplay before. After winning two Oscars, he decided to buy a book on screenwriting to learn how. In the first chapter, it said “Study Godfather I”.

Today I am sharing some cards using the new ESSENTIAL STENCIL that releases tomorrow :)

Just some ideas but there is so much more that you can do with this fun stencil!

...and a peek at the new SPREADING JOY stamp set and JOY DIES (releasing tomorrow)
I inked up the card stock with the stencil and then die cut JOY from that paper. I popped up the letters with foam squares. I used painters take to mask off sections where I wanted to protect my paper.

...and a peek at the new LAURELS DIES and JOY DIES (releasing tomorrow)
I colored the letters with a Copic marker

Hellllo
Today is WORLD CARD MAKING DAY!
I will be making some cards today - just have to :)

I have a giveaway on our Instagram feed - #papersmooches please check it out today.

Tomorrow is the Paper Smooches design team blog hop.

I shared a card this week using the Buffalo Check Stencil...I was asked how I created the two-tone plaid. Here is a bit of an explanation :)

1. place the stencil over card stock, use a finger dauber to apply the teal ink over the stencil.

2. clean stencil (dry) and shift the stencil over so that the opening of the squares is not on top of the base ink color.

3. place the stencil over cardstock, use a finger dauber to apply the dark blue ink over the stencil.

It is a 6 x 6 stencil, so it will cover an entire card front. I just chose to ink up a portion of the stencil

Alice used dimensional paste with her Buffalo Check Stencil

(Buffalo Check Stencil, Cacti Dies, Inverted Greetings)
