Black Ribbon - The black ribbon is to show your support for Melanoma cancer patients and Sleep Disorders. 
Blue Ribbon - Blue ribbons stand for Osteoporosis, ARDS, Osteogenesis Imperfecta, Child Abuse, Huntington's Disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Colon Cancer Arthritis
Burgundy Ribbon - Burgundy ribbons stand for myeloma, hospice care, Sepsis, APS (Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome), FVL, Thrombophilia, headaches and to support the Permanently Disabled. 
Gold Ribbon - The Gold ribbons stand for childhood cancer and COPD. 
Gray Ribbon - Gray ribbons stand for Asthma, Juvenile Diabetes and Brain Tumors. 
Green Ribbon - Green awareness ribbons stand for Organ & Tissue Donors, Mental Health, Neurofibromatosis, Kidney Cancer, Cerebral Palsy, Bipolar and Tourette syndrome.

Orange Ribbon - The orange ribbon stands for Self Injury, Leukemia, RSD/CRPS, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Hunger, and Addiction Recovery. 
Pale Yellow Ribbon - Spina bifida awareness is symbolized by pale yellow ribbons. 
Pearl Ribbon - Pearl ribbons stand for Lung Cancer and Mesothelioma. 
Periwinkle Ribbon - Periwinkle Ribbon stands for Eating Disorders, Esophageal Cancer and Pulmonary Hypertension. 
Pink Ribbon - A pink ribbon is to show your support for breast cancer patients. 
Purple Ribbon - Purple ribbons are worn to show support for Alzheimer's disease, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Pain, Crohn's Disease, Domestic Violence, ADHD, Lupus, Pancreatic, Emotional Abuse, Retinitis Pigmentosa, Sjogren's Syndrome and Cystic Fibrosis. 
Puzzle Ribbon - Wear the Puzzle Ribbon to support those 'living with' autism. 
Red Ribbon - Red ribbons are associated with AIDS and HIV, heart disease and substance abuse. 
Silver Ribbon - Parkinson's disease and mental illnesses are represented by silver ribbons. 
Teal Ribbon - Teal ribbon stands for Substance Abuse, PCOS, Sexual Abuse, Ovarian Cancer, Myasthenia Gravis, Cervical Cancer, Lymphedema and Panic Attacks. 
White Ribbon - White ribbons support diabetes, Blindness, Osteoporosis and retinoblastoma. 
Yellow Red Ribbon - Yellow Red Ribbon stands for Hepatitis C Virus. 
Yellow Ribbon - Yellow ribbons stand for bladder and testicular cancer , liver disease, hydrocephalus, suicide prevention, down syndrome and hope.

  1. TFS - on what all the different color of the ribbons stand for. I only knew what the pink color stood for and I'm amazed on the other colors....

  2. the red ribbon is also the symbol for stroke awareness and brain/neuro disorders. Had to point it out, for my mommy. Thank you for sharing this list

  3. A half pink, half blue ribbon is for awareness for the Loss of a child, SIDS, miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, neonatal death and stillbirth. I've suffered a miscarriage last December and a stillbirth just last month. This ribbon set is very versital

  9. The lime green ribbon also represents non-Hodgkins lymphoma. I've been in remission for one year.

  10. You need to take the meds as prescribed. You can’t miss. A lot of people forget from time to time, and the pills can’t work if you forget to take them. There are pill boxes with little alarms on them. If your symptoms are getting bad, you need to call up your psychiatrist for a med adjustment. You may never get complete relief, but you will need to try things maybe for a few YEARS to be sure you can’t tweak things to a really good place for you.
