JANUARY release day!

ohhh I am so excited!

So, this release is larger than normal because it's technically our winter CHA release. (CHA=Craft & Hobby Association: trade show for those of you who are new...where stores buy product from manufacturers).  For the past two years, Paper Smooches had a booth at the winter CHA trade shows in California, but I decided not to have a booth again this year.  Even though we are not exhibiting, I thought it would be fun to have a larger release for old times sake.

The reason we are not exhibiting this year is simple really...it's a very stressful time for me (which spans about five months) and I just don't want to put myself through that at this time.  I may have a booth in the future (it sure was a TON of fun) but I want to make sure this venture is always super fun and I want to continue to enjoy the process.  I WILL be at the show though...I will be walking the floor.  I started going to trade shows 8 years ago and boy, do I love them!  Meeting (and hugging) people who love what I love is always a delight!

Please welcome our new DIES

Our new stamps and dies will be available at midnight tonight.
(12:01am EST on Jan 1)

It's release night and I will be sharing our NEW dies this morning (I already have my dies post prepped and scheduled)  Look for our newsletter for project samples.

Laurie used our new Cardbooking dies (beautifully I might add).  This collection is amazing for scrapbooking and cards - super-bonus!  I love the tone on tone colors! The Hello sentiment is from our Quote tag die.

Emily used several of our new Jan release.  The Pinked Circle die in the background...the Snowman die, and our new sentiment set called Scripty Sayings.  I love the fun color combo (those pink carrots are unexpected and so loved)  This card is beyond adorable :)

In Belarus, a one-armed man was arrested for clapping.

Love ya bunches!

JAN stamps

well goodness, I was hoping to share these sooner today, but orders kept flying in :)  so here I am.

Please welcome...

Botanicals 1
You might remember some of these images from my former red rubber stamp sets with Cornish Heritage Farms.  These sets were HUGELY popular and since they are truly timeless, I decided to "tweak" them and bring them back to life in clear stamp form.  You can use them for so many wonderful techniques!

Botanicals 2

and since I LOVE the kiss technique....here are some very cool patterned stamps to kiss onto our Botanical stamps (and more)

Kissables 1

Kissables 2

Project Life, pocket pages, life scrapbooking...whatever you call it - it's hot!  So we are introducing a collection of stamps and dies that work beautifully on your scrapbook pages.

Captured Moments

Just a Note

Scripty Sayings
This is another revitalized stamp set from my past.  Each word is fine tuned.

Talk Bubbles (3 x 4)
(has coordinating dies)

Positive Strokes (3 x 4)

...you like?

...and hey, if you are home on New Year's Eve (like me) I'd love for you to join us over at Splitcoaststampers for our release party.

Helllllo Monday!!

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend :)

Later today, I ill share our stamp release with you and tomorrow, I will share the new dies.  I can't wait to show you what we have been up to - it's an exciting time!

Heidi used a sentiment from our new "Headliners" stamp set.  She heat embossed the sentiment in white and water colored over it - it looks amazing, doesn't it???

Kalyn used our new "Just a Note" stamp set along with a new word bubble die from our "Cardbooking" die set.  Funny how I also pictured the typewriter in baby blue.  I love her collage design - so fresh and fun to look at!!  (the red heart bubble is from Royal Cuteness.

Hello chicas!!

It's Saturday - woohooo!!  I hope you have some extra-fun plans for today  (maybe some crop time is carved out in your day?)  :)

...calling all scrapbookers - check these beauties out!

Now this is a work of art!!  What a darling little photo.  Mou used our Hearts dies, Sweet Hearts stamps, Always & Forever dies, Love-Struck stamps and dies in such an incredible way.  The Polaroid die frames her photo.

Kim used our very popular Freezy Fellas stamps and dies to accent her super-cute page!  The Duo Die 2 frame is a perfect anchor for the center of her layout.  (it looks glittery - love!)  These fabulous photos just needed a cute little title and accent to help tell the story.

Summer's page is just dang FABulous!!  She has an incredible way with color and design.  LOVE the stitches and details!!  She used our Dog Icons dies along with Lucky Dog and Paws for a Cause stamps.  Seriously looooove!

The 1977 University of Evansville Men’s Basketball Team was killed in a plane crash. One player didn't make the trip due to an illness. He was killed in a car
wreck 2 weeks later.
Love ya!  Kim

Check out this super adorable card...loving the cute button accent...the epoxy dots on the camera...the playful patterned papers, and the crisp white polaroid frame that makes everything stand out.  Karolyn's card is fabulous!

Oh how I love how Ashley stamps on her backgrounds!  She pulled out her Bam Bubble and Hearts dies and accented this wonderful card perfectly!  Totally cute in every way (just like Ashley)
