Electricity was first installed in the White House in 1891. It was such a new concept that President Benjamin Harrison and his wife both refused to touch light switches due to their fear of electrocution so the White House staff had to follow them around and turn the lights off and on for them.

12.23 Sunday Recap

Helllllllllllllllllo, friends!

Savannah O'Gwynn here today sharing ANNNNNNNNNOTHER card AND a VIDEO that I created for the December RIBBON challenge. *EXTREME SHOCK* I know!!! I feel really good about how my wrist is healing--- after making the video my wrist did hurt, but I'm letting it rest now:)
The first card is a whimsical Christmas card that I created after being inspired by a t-shirt at Walmart.  Paper Smooches supplies I used: A Holy Holiday, Magical Sampler, Unicorn die

The next two cards I created were inspired by some gift designs I found on Pinterest. Check out my boards HERE. I mean it when I say--- there is inspiration EVERYWHERE (see inspiration from previous card 🤣)!

I needed some clean and simple Christmas cards to send out quickly. PLUS the good news is that I get to enter both cards in the December RIBBON challenge because I used ribbon. LOVE it!

Check out the video HERE, HERE on the Virtual Smooches blog, or watch it below!

Now get out your ribbon! Use it on your PS projects and enter them in our December RIBBON challenge. We'd love for you to play along!

That's it for me today. I hope you have a wonderful holiday celebrating Christ's birth and the life He gave for us. I also hope you received LOTS of Paper Smooches goodies in your stocking or under the tree 😉

Be blessed Merry CHRISTmas! Happy birthday, Jesus! ❤️ Sav

In 1915, during a historic drought, San Diego hired a “Rain Maker.” He took the job and soon thereafter there was so much rain that there were floods and a dam even broke. They didn’t pay him though. Too much rain.

Most stars exist in binary or triple star systems. It is hypothesized that up to 85% of stars are gravitationally bound to another star in a multiple star system. Therefore, solitary stars (such as the Sun) are actually not the norm in the universe, but in fact are a rarity.

12.16 Sunday Recap

Helllllllllllllllllo, friends!

Savannah O'Gwynn here today sharing another card that I created for the December RIBBON challenge. *DOUBLE SHOCK* I know!!! I've had two sessions of physical therapy, as well as another MRI. I'm feeling pretty good about how my wrist is healing. FINALLY!
Do you see the ribbon? It's a paper ribbon bow! I used the PS Baby Bow dies to create that ribbon bow from Crate Paper patterned paper. You can read more about this card HERE on my blog. I share a fun little story about how this special friend thinks the company that makes patterned paper (all patterned paper) is called PAPER PAD!  Paper Smooches supplies I used: Happy Birthday, Numbers dies, Digits dies, Baby Bow dies, Love & Cherish dies, and Gift Tags dies.

Now get out your ribbon! Use it on your PS projects and enter them in our December RIBBON challenge. We'd love for you to play along!

That's it for me today. I had a goal last week to upload my video that I created sharing a CAS Christmas card... but that didn't happen because I was on the couch with a bad migraine for several days. It's always something 😟 I need to hurry up and get my cards created so I can send them out ON TIME! LOL! Be on the lookout for that video on the Virtual Smooches blog, and don't forget to stop back on the PS blog for more inspiration daily!

Be blessed ❤️ Sav
