In order to understand where our food comes and how much a single sandwich really costs, he did absolutely everything from making his own cheese to harvesting his own wheat. He made his own salt and made his own oil. He grew sunflowers and collected their seeds to extract fat.

North Korea is obsessed with Choco Pies from South Korea. There’s a black market for them, and factories once used them to pay worker bonuses. In 2010, The Chosun Ilbo reported that choco pies could fetch as much as US$9.50 on the North Korean black market. In 2014, S Korean activists sent 10K pies to NK with helium balloons. After an injured NK defector crossed the DMZ in 2017, he was given a lifetime supply.

9.2 Sunday Recap

Hello, PS friends and fans!

Happy Labor Day! I hope you are enjoying your weekend- relaxing, having fun, and finding some time to craft using your Paper Smooches stamps and dies!!!

We have a couple of things to share this week for our recap----> don't miss out on the fun!

Be sure to stop by HERE to check out our August Anything Goes challenge winners. What a beautiful gallery, which makes it hard to pick just 3 winners. πŸ˜

Our new monthly challenge started and it's a STYLE challenge. We are looking for CLEAN & SIMPLE projects.

This is a challenge for me because I struggle with simple designs. I always want to keep adding elements or images to my cards. LOL! I joined in the fun and tried my hand at a CAS card... lots of white space, modern design, and a fairly easy card considering my injuries. I think I nailed it!
I hope you will play along with our September challenge. Click HERE for more details. Or link up below.

That's it for me today. Be sure to stop back by daily this week- the PS DT has NEW creations to share! You will definitely be inspired. ❤️
Be blessed ❤️ Sav

ps... Thanks again for your prayers and well wishes! You won't believe this but yesterday I whacked my pinky on a bench and fell into that same bench on my right knee. πŸ€•  I believe the pinky is broken because it instantly swelled up and turned colors. The knee is bruised and swollen making it hard to walk. I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeed bubble wrap!  πŸ€¦πŸΌ‍♀️
