A London skyscraper melted several cars and started fires due to the intensity of the sun’s reflection on its south side. It had to be fitted with a permanent sunshade to prevent more incidents.

TVs emit a tone during ad breaks that are inaudible to humans but that smartphones are listening for; now corporate entities can link the tv & phone as belonging to the same person. It means government entities can play a tone through the TV and ping all the phones in the room, identifying the whole group.

Hey friends

I feel the need to address my new Feel Better Sampler stamp set.

I am a sweet and kind person and would never do or say anything to disrespect, offend or hurt anyone. My heart is always in the right place.

I chose to imply a harsh word on my stamp set because as most everyone knows...cancer is one of the worst diseases. Those of us who has been affected can feel anger, sadness and so many emotions. Sometimes it helps to yell about it. My Mom passed away nearly 30 years ago from breast cancer and it never gets easier.

I realize that not everyone swears or condones cuss words. We are all different and that is a beautiful thing. I never judge anyone for anything.

If I have offended you, I am sincerely sorry. <3 Kim

When you first meet people it is common to forget their names – a phenomenon called the ‘next-in-line’ effect. This is because people are too worried about themselves, and what they’ll say next, to focus on remembering the names of people they’re introduced to.

Ice is a mineral just as much as Quartz is. Ice is a naturally occurring compound with a defined chemical formula and crystal structure, thus making it a legitimate mineral. Its only limitation, in comparison to all other minerals, is that it is not stable at room temperature.

In an unbelievable coincidence, the moon is exactly four hundred times smaller than the Sun but four hundred times closer to the Earth, so that both the Sun and the Moon appear to be precisely the same size in the sky – which gives us the phenomenon we call a total eclipse

When America’s first rocket scientist, Robert Goddard, theorized that rockets could reach the moon, the New York Times harshly criticized him and wrote that he “lacked the knowledge ladled out daily in high schools.” 49 years later, Apollo 11 succeeded and the NYT published a retraction.
