  9. I'm really loving stamping images then heat embossing them before watercoloring. I love how the heat embossed areas helps my watercolor "stay in the lines".

I literally just learned to make them last week (well, I should say I always knew but was afraid to try because it would take too long or I would mess it up) and it's SOOO EASY!   12. My favorite right now is any card that moves. I love sliders, tunnel cards, spinners...love them all because you can take some image you love and work it into an interactive card. In Stitches would satisfy that need to sew when I don't have the patience to sew, LOL!

  14. I love that alphadot stamp set. Very Paper Smoochey! I am having fun with the distress oxide inks. So easy to blend and masking an image just makes it stand out on a card. Then of course die cutting, what is not to love about that!

  15. Hmmmm...that’s a tough one. I’m not sure I have a favorite technique. Just making cards and using all the stuff I have and not just collecting them. Is that a technique? Lol. Copics and water colors are at the top of y list. Just under sharing my studio with friends.

  16. Yikes...I always wash raw chicken. Favorite technique...hmmm...probably alcohol ink blending with alcohol markers, but layered dies are right up there, too. I don't even know what black ice is...off to investigate!!

  33. I love handstitching - well, OK, it takes forever sometimes, but the results are usually so worth the effort! I recently organized my embroidery floss, so that made me think of this technique first.

  46. I enjoy making layered cards and using my Copic for coloring. I've been making seasonal cards for the third grade class I volunteer with. They get really excited that I make something for the! The smiles are worth the time and mess I make in my craft room!!

  51. I always love stamping and die cutting (on my Big Shot!), and have been trying my best to learn how to use alcohol markers. Most of my cards are fairly simple these days, and trying to learn how to make it CAS and have it still look finished.

  79. I have always loved layering. Stamp layering, paper layering, die cut layering. I find so much joy in taking several different paper prints in different colors and slapping them all down on a card....stamping sentiments and florals and then topping with a sweet little bird die cut. Layering....it's not just for winters in New England lol FAB stamps and die sets!!!

  97. Right now I like taking Distress Oxide and smooshing it onto glossy photo paper. After it dries I use a baby wipe and wipe it down. I love how no two look the same.
