Based on da Vinci’s work, there is evidence that the artist had strabismus: one eye is straight, while the other eye can drift. Some forms of strabismus are thought to facilitate artistic work by suppressing the deviating eye, which creates 2D monocular vision advantageous to painting and drawing.

The United States Postal Service has about 1,700 employees in Utah who read anything that the automated systems can’t read like illegible addresses. About 5 million pieces of mail are read at this location daily. Seasoned employees generally average about 1,600 addresses read per hour.

STENCIL release day

Hello :)
I am super pumped about the new Paper Smooches stencils.
I plan to design TWO new stencils every month. Some will consist of shapes, some multi pattern and some full patterns. I am excited to create unique stencils that coordinate with each stamp and die release. Our stencils will primarily be created in the 6 x 6 size.

Today is the June release day. July stencils will release along with our stamps and dies on July 7th.

Our June 2019 stencils are now available here

Please welcome...

Card using a special sneak peek from our July release...called Inhale Exhale (it has HUGE unique sentiments) Fab Frames Die and Clouds Stencil

Card using: Uplifters stamp set and Flourishes Stencil

There are so many ways to use stencils:
  • Paint
  • Spray Mist
  • Texture Paste
  • Ink
  • Chalk
  • Gesso
  • Pens
  • Watercolor
  • Markers
  • Stamps
  • Emboss
  • and more
Use stencils on cards, scrapbook pages, journals, planners, mixed media projects, home decor

Simply tape off the other designs with painters tape or washi tape so that you can isolate the shape you would like to use. Wipe clean easily with baby wipes or damp paper towel or cloth.

Happy Crafting!

Hello friends
I am excited to share that we created STENCILS!
The first two will release on June 22nd.
The July stencils will release along with our new stamps and dies on the 7th day of the month.

Here is a peek at the new Clouds and Flourishes stencils:
I used the Flourishes stencil as wind on my cards but there are many different uses for each stencil that I will share soon. I water colored with the stencils.

Archaeologists routinely find edible honey in ancient Egyptian tombs – the stuff never spoils, due to extremely low water-content, very low pH, and hydrogen peroxide (made by an enzyme in the bees’ stomachs).

Some marathon runners elect to have their toenails permanently removed. Their level of running causes friction on the toes and results in toenails routinely becoming damaged and detached. To circumvent chronic nail wounds, some people just get rid of them entirely.

New York City is one of four major cities in the United States whose drinking water is pure enough not to require purification by water treatment plants. The city is supplied with drinking water by the protected Catskill Mountains watershed.
